When Ursula’s health began to decline and she moved to live at St. Joseph’s Villa in 2010, George sold their family home on the beach strip in Hamilton and moved into St. Joseph’s Estates to be close to his love of over 60 years. He visited every day. They reminisced about his days as a steel worker, their adventurous travels in younger years, and the growing care and support they both received from the Villa family, both staff and the residents of St. Joseph’s Estates. Overwhelmed by this love and comfort, especially upon Ursula’s passing, George has included St. Joseph’s Villa Foundation in his will. “It’s my way to show my appreciation for everything you did, for both of us. I think it would make Ursula proud to know that we can be part of making sure this care continues. I can see her smiling now.”
